Which Sugars are Safe for You?

There is a big difference between natural sugar and refined sugar.

Do not let anyone convince you that because fruit has ‘sugar’ it’s bad for you.

Natural sugar comes from natural foods such as fruits, vegetables, dairy and honey. Fruits are wholesome and nutritious, packed with fibre, vitamins, antioxidants and phytonutrients. Their sugars are sustainably release for energy throughout the day. Knowing which fruit is right for you is key to discovering better health and better weight loss.

Refined sugars, on the other hand, are the bad sugars found mainly in packaged food such as a muesli bar, chocolate, cereals, and sweets.

Refined sugar lacks valuable nutrition. There is really no healthy reason to include it in your diet.

Natural sugar is useful energy to the body. Man-made refined sugar can be harmful to the body.
