Broth – Better than Botox

Believe it or not, skin care truly starts with our diet.

A diet that is compatible to our blood works can help to rectify unwanted health issues, which eventually reflect on the skin.

Bone broth is an anti-ageing skin beverage anyone can introduce themselves to.

Bone Broth – ideally from beef, lamb, chicken or fish – contain absorbable collagen, minerals and B vitamin’s to help with skin structure and elasticity. Bone broth can be made by including meat bone in your soups. Or if you don't have meat bone on hand, you can add Bone broth powder (such as Nutraorganics) or Bone broth glue such as (Gevity Rx). Broth can replace stock in cooking as they will be rich in flavour and nutrition, as well as less fillers and added sugar.

If you can get your hands on consuming broth regularly. You will recognise better skin health which reflects your own gut health.

If you like to consume whole chicken and meat at the bone, try to nibble on the cartilage at the joints of the bone. This exact cartilage contains collagen that makes up the broth needed for skin elasticity and skin glow.

Bone broth is also beneficial for strong hair, strong nails, arthritis relief and better digestive health.

Collagen also needs to accompany vitamin C in fresh vegetables. Vitamin C supplements won't suffice as the content of vitamin C in the packaging degrades as it sits on the shelf. Consume red capsicum, tomatoes, spinach, Brussel sprouts for a vitamin C boost which helps with collagen.
