Acidic and Alkalising Foods

Acidic Foods

Acidic foods are those foods that become acidic once they are consumed in our bodies.


Lemons are naturally acidic (citric acid) but once they are consumed they become alkalising to our bodies. Therefore, lemons are not categorised as an acidic food.


Soda drinks are acidic both on their own and when consumed. Avoid it!


Too much acid consumption can negatively affect our health.
